At The Rural Dog Park, we have 3 Secure Dog Fields for you and your dog(s) to use.
All of our fields are fitted with 6ft Tornado Deer Fencing. We ensure every aspect of our dog fields are secure so you can completely relax and let your pooch explore to their heart’s content.

Our Training Areas are connected by a gate and are booked together so you can have extra space or to join up with friends!
The Play Area also has a shelter if the weather is not looking too good, or to give you some shade in the sun!

We know you might have questions when you first visit a Secure Dog Field, so we’ve put together a few of our frequently asked questions to help make your visit as stress-free as possible.

Sessions are available to book online for 50 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to arrive and leave, to ensure parking spaces are vacant for the next bookings.
To comply with our insurance, it is imperative that you keep your dog on the lead as you leave the car and walk up to the field (you may walk past livestock on the way so please keep them on a short, secure lead). Once you are in your field and your gate is shut you are free to take them off the lead and watch them enjoy their precious freedom! Obviously, please put the lead back on them before you open the gate to leave.
We totally understand that this happens, unfortunately due to the booking system you will only be able to stay till the end of your booked sessions.
We allow 10 minutes between each booking to minimise the chance of you seeing earlier bookings, however you may see customers and doggies that have booked a session at the same time as you.
Arriving 5 minutes before your booking is plenty of time to park and walk up to the fields. Please do not arrive any earlier than this as it will make parking very difficult.
There is parking available on our driveway. We would ask you to park on the right hand side of the driveway to allow access by the property owners.
We also kindly ask you to not block anyone else in.
Yes please! We provide dog waste bags for you to use if you do forget your own, and waste bins are provided in each field.
There is a shelter in Field 3, but otherwise we do recommend wearing waterproofs or bringing umbrellas. The doggies still enjoy themselves, come rain or shine.
You can book for up to 6 dogs on our website, however if you would like to bring more than 6, please contact us directly.
No, sorry there isn’t. Middleton Courtyard is not far away if you need a quick pit stop!
Our dog walking fields are open 8am to 6pm (5pm in the winter).
On your first visit, myself or one of my family shall endeavour to meet you, and show you up the the secure fields.
You can amend your booking up to 24 hours before your date and time. You can do this by logging into your profile on our website book online page. Booking’s can only be transferred, not refunded.
Unfortunately, as a small business we can’t offer refunds, however, if we have to cancel due to extreme weather etc we will of course refund you in full.
